George Hering - Managing Director

As MD and founder of Ibis Marketing George is responsible for company direction and the management of key accounts.

As a marketing specialist for over 30 years he has been director of several creative agencies. During his career he has also held the post of development director of a UK PLC with direct responsibility for extending a portfolio of international brands. The work involved product development, license negotiation, acquisition and brand extension including European TV formatting and broadcast rights.

More recently he has been involved in managing a wide range of UK accounts in the scientific, consumer, insurance, travel and sports sectors.

Rob Devereux - Creative Director

Having studied graphic design and illustration for 5 years Rob began his career as a freelance illustrator based in Bristol. Clients included Top Gear Magazine and local press work.

Two years later Rob moved back to Suffolk to work as an in-house designerfor a Suffolk Based construction firm. Two years later he worked for Dorling Kindersly book publishers as an art editor working on their children's publications.

After this Rob was appointed to AWC, a leading advertising agency based in Suffolk.His role began as senior designer to the Creative Manager responsible for the Coventry based studio. Clients included Jewson, Graham, Jeyes, Mr. Fothergills and Bosch.

Steve Crooks - Special Projects

A Design Communications graduate, Steve has worked in all areas of design in the last 15 years for Suffolk based agencies. During that time, Steve has immersed himself in the world of creative print, packaging, internet and video.

Combining an understanding of his clients creative ambition and commercial responsibility has enabled Steve to build a reputation among those he works with as a person who can deliver on time and on budget. These clients over the years have ranged from the 'Man and a Van' right through to large and Blue Chip clientele such as B&Q, Masco, Graham, Homebase and Ideal World TV.

Most recently Steve has been working on a number of ground breaking online projects reaching new markets with online video based magazines, email marketing and business to business publications in both the UK and Ireland.

Ian Fitch - Director Technology

What can we say about Ian, the super-smart technical guru that we turn to when the going get tough. He works by day and often long into the night solving the most demanding of our projects. He's a nice guy, a dad of 3 young boys and has an established track record of building successful technology.

Ian is a natural born problem-solver. Even when he is ‘off the clock' you'll find him reading programming books and keeping up with all the latest techniques and software. He has worked for some of the largest employers in the UK and comes with a whole host of qualifications too numerous to mention.

Rob Gravener - Public Relations

Robert trained as a journalist with the news agency Reuters, where he worked for 8 years, progressing from a junior to become editor of their construction and engineering database. He moved into public relations, working for the UK's largest specialist company the Profile Group, representing many of the major players in the construction industry including Taylor Woodrow, Tarmac and George Wimpey.

When the time was right, Robert moved back to Suffolk, where he spent his childhood, and became PR director of the leading advertising agency in Suffolk, AWC, Here he specialised in the horticulture and gardening sector, working for Fisons, Hozelock, Jeyes, Mr Forthergills, Thompson and Morgan and William Sinclair.

After ten years with AWC he took the decision to work for himself and has since involved as a freelance PR consultant for a diverse range of clients, including Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire County Councils, Binatone and the UK's leading fan manufacturer and composter.

Fiona Hering - Marketing Consultant

As consultant to Ibis Marketing, Fiona's particular expertise is in Restaurant, Hotel and Hospitality marketing. She works for several high class establishments in central London including 5 Star Hotels and Michelin Star restaurants.

Following university where she gained a degree in Psychology and Media she joined a large interior design company before going to an International 5 star hotel in Knightsbridge where she quickly progressed to be Marketing Manager.

Several years on Fiona is now a marketing specialist for restaurant, hospitality and life style businesses in central London.
